Job summary

ib vogt seeks a Project Development Manager to lead PV and/or BESS projects in Indonesia, handling day-to-day project management, contract negotiations, permitting, and external stakeholders management.

You will coordinate with the Indonesian Business Development team and APAC peers to ensure social, environmental, and regulatory compliance while driving budgets, milestones, and deliverables toward construction readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy industry in Indonesia.
• Experience working on a successful utility scale solar project with PT PLN as offtaker.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skill.
• Experience with collocated PV and BESS projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-origination to start-of-construction development collaboration with Indonesian Business Development team.
• Manage budgets, milestones, schedules, and deliverables for development projects.
• Review and negotiate project agreements: PPA, lease, JV, EPC and O&M.
• Manage and track existing development contracts.
• Secure permits and ensure social and environmental compliance across development, construction and operation.
• Engage local community for project support.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain timeline and budget.
• Interface with Engineering, Project, Finance, Accounting, Legal.
• Work with finance during feasibility analysis and financing processes.
• Manage due diligence processes.
