Job summary

Waypoint Port Services Indonesia seeks a Country Manager to lead operations, drive commercial growth, and optimize procurement across Indonesia. You will secure new clients, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance while aligning with global objectives.

You will manage vendor agreements, negotiate rates, and strengthen the company’s presence in the Indonesian maritime market, reporting to regional leadership and HQ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in maritime-related sales or commercial roles.
• At least 3 years in a senior commercial role in Indonesia.
• Strong network with shipowners, charterers, and traders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the commercial and growth strategy in Indonesia to gain market share.
• Develop relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders.
• Represent the company at meetings, events, and forums in Indonesia and region.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and P&L accountability.
• Oversee office operations, agents, and staff in Indonesia.
• Coordinate with regional and global leadership to align sales goals.
• Provide sales forecasts and pipeline reports to headquarters.
• Drive cost optimization and procurement strategies.
• Meet statutory and fiscal obligations.
• Promote company values and reputation.
