Job summary

RemotePeople seeks a Senior Finance Executive (Indonesia Operations) to lead accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and finance operations for the Indonesia entity. This role partners with the Singapore Headquarters to ensure timely reporting and regional finance initiatives.

Beyond finance, the role provides HR and office administration support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Indonesia office. Strong knowledge of PSAK, tax rules, and ERP systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with PSAK and Group accounting policies.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in the accounting system.
• Manage AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets accounting.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Submit monthly closing packages to Singapore Headquarters following Group timetable.
• Coordinate with Regional Finance on monthly closing and reporting matters.
• Prepare Indonesian statutory tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT) and other returns.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants on tax compliance.
• Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party schedules.
• Support statutory and tax audits with required schedules and documentation.
• Monitor changes in Indonesian regulations and assess impact on business.
• Liaise with banks on daily cash balances and banking operations.
• Support treasury and cash management activities with the Regional Finance team.
• Assist in implementing internal controls and SOPs.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with external providers and maintain HR documentation.
• Oversee office administration, licenses, and vendor management.
• Serve as primary finance contact for Indonesia with Singapore HQ and Regional Finance.
