Job summary

PT Galva Galindra Multi Cipta in Jakarta is seeking an Export-Import / Customs Compliance Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to manage end-to-end processes in line with regulations. The role requires strong knowledge of export-import documents, HS codes, Incoterms, and systems like INSW and CEISA.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring accurate documentation and risk mitigation.

Job description

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Export-Import / Customs Compliance

Strong knowledge of export-import documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Surveyor Report, Certificate of Origin/SKA)

Good understanding of HS Code, Incoterms, and customs regulations

Familiar with INSW, CEISA, and Customs (Bea Cukai) systems

Strong adaptability and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Excellent communication skills across stakeholders: internal (cross-department) and external (customs officers, forwarders, clients)

Ability to support risk analysis and provide insights from a customs compliance perspective

Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Bachelor's degree in Management or related field; customs certification is a plus

What You'll Do

Handle end-to-end export and import processes in compliance with applicable regulations

Prepare and review export-import documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

Ensure proper HS Code classification and application of Incoterms

Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (customs, forwarders, surveyors, clients) for smooth operations

Manage and submit documentation through INSW, CEISA, and other customs systems

Monitor regulatory updates and ensure company compliance with customs requirements

Identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigation

Support audits and maintain proper documentation records
