Job summary

PT. PAPAN SUASANA INDONESIA is seeking an Import Purchasing Staff to manage purchase orders and supplier relations for imported goods. The role requires coordinating PR/SO-based purchasing, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely deliveries while ensuring import documentation is complete.

Fresh graduates are welcome with a background in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration and a basic understanding of import procedures; English fluency is required for business communication.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, business conversation, correspondence (Oral & Written).
• Have experience min. 1 year handle import dan purchasing, plus experience handle import for building material products, and/or attend import & export training.
• Fresh graduate welcome, ipk min. 3.00 with wide knowledge about import procedure, understand good purchasing system
• Well groomed, pleasant personality, with high level of accuracy & analytical thinking
• Able to work individually and team work
• Strong interpersonal & communication skill

Responsibilities

• Create and print a PO and send it to the supplier, so that the purchasing process can run well, according to the desired schedule and specifications.
• Purchase goods or services, based on requests in the form of PR (Purchase Requisition) or SO (Sales Order), in accordance with purchasing techniques and procedures.
• Control the stock analysis implementation schedule, to find out the latest stock conditions, by managing data in the stock analysis table and creating a PO if the stock condition is within the standards set for the order.
• Evaluate supplier performance through historical service data (time of delivery, quantity, quality, cost).
• Look for alternative suppliers to get competitive prices.
• Follow up on the arrival time of goods to the supplier.
• Checking the completeness of import documents according to the required documents.
