Job summary

PT Indofresh is seeking a driven Buyer (Mandarin Speaker) to support our FMCG sourcing and supplier development. You will explore new international suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure stock aligns with demand while minimizing risk.

Based in Ancol, North Jakarta, you will collaborate with our team and potentially travel for business trips. Fluency in Mandarin (HSK 3) and strong communication are essential; prior Import Buyer experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Chinese Literature or related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin is a must (HSK 3).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience as Import Buyer preferred.
• Willingness to travel for business trips.
• Willing to be placed in Ancol, North Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Identify new international suppliers/vendors in the FMCG sector.
• Negotiate with suppliers/vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers/vendors.
• Analyze opportunities for potential products.
• Check and manage stock to avoid oversupply.
• Manage and control product risk calculations.
• Understand import documentation and liaise with the documents team.
