Job summary

MicroSave Consulting (MSC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive inclusive financial ecosystems in Indonesia. You will shape strategies to expand financial access, strengthen agent networks, and advance digital payments with regulators and financial institutions.

You will lead business development, support consulting projects, and help develop MSC toolkits while fostering learning and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (MBA, international development, public administration, economics, or allied fields).
• 3–5 years of experience in related field.
• Deep understanding of payment systems and merchant payments.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions.
• Experience in management consulting and project leadership.
• Familiarity with blockchain, AI, ML and their banking applications.
• Strong networking within banking, fintech, and digital finance sectors.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Assist senior leadership to pitch and write concept notes and proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Author/Co-author thematic publications (Blogs/Focus notes/Briefing notes).
• Actively engage in social media promotions and marketing.
• Provide support on consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, leveraging data-driven insights.
• Contribute to the development of MSC’s toolkits and other publications.
• Invest in self-development by acquiring skills and knowledge which contribute to the organization.
