Job summary

IKEA seeks an experienced leader to head IKEA for Business in Thailand. You will guide the IB organization, drive marketing, sales, support, and fulfilment, and ensure high standards of service and ethics in all customer interactions.

You will oversee store-counter operations and multi-channel fulfilment, aligning with sustainability goals and the IKEA concept. You will lead negotiations with large customers, ensure targets are met, and demonstrate strong stakeholder management and leadership

Your assignment

• Ensure that IKEA for Business operates to the highest professional and ethical standards in all meetings with the customers, to uphold and strengthen IKEA’s reputation as a leading, trustworthy, and service oriented brand.
• Lead, train, and develop the IKEA for Business (IB) organization and drive all IB marketing, sales, support, and fulfilment activities in Thailand. Be responsible for the IB team in Thailand meeting the established budgets and overall operational targets.
• In cooperation with IKEA Retail management in Thailand, oversee and support the operation of the IB sales counters in the stores, through leading and motivating the front co-workers, and through the good example install a positive mindset of responsibility, customer care, and service.
• Oversee the implementation of the designated IKEA for Business website in Thailand and ensure smooth operational integration of follow-up and fulfilment of orders generated at all touchpoints (store-counters, website, and outgoing sales initiatives).
• Lead negotiation with larger customers and support the sales team in interaction with these.
• Ensure that the company’s competitive advantage within Sustainability is incorporated into the general operation and profile, in support of the overall image of IKEA for Business.

Qualification

Your profile

• You are service oriented and have at least 5-7-year experience in general management of a multi-functional organization (Sales, Operation, Finance & Accounting, Operations, Quality, Compliance) preferably with experience in organizational support and services to other group-entities and countries.
• Understanding and commitment to company Culture and Values, with strong ability to convey these directly and indirectly through own way of being.
• Good conceptual and practical understanding of IKEA’s profile and range, with strong ability to communicate the IKEA concept to external contacts.
• Solid conceptual and practical understanding of IKEA’s agenda within sustainability and circularity.
• Strong negotiations and commercial skills, with experience in corporate sales, and in meeting larger customers/organizations at senior management levels.
• You have a proven record of positive and successful leadership and are skilled in creating a high commercial performance.
• You possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
