Abb Ltd in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking a Project Engineer who will act as a design authority for electrical/automation disciplines on small to medium projects within our DCS/automation portfolio. The role supports testing, installation, commissioning, and proposal development in a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics and have 5+ years of DCS/automation experience, with strong knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, instrumentation, and industry protocols.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DCS project engineering, application programming, and automation projects/services.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and OPC.
• Familiarity with ABB 800xA, ABB Control Builder, and ABB Pulp & Paper Library is highly advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
• Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
• Showcase expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
