Job summary

ABB is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium-size projects within the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) in Jakarta. You will oversee execution, ensure adherence to procedures and standards, and guide project teams to meet contracted deliverables and target results.

The role requires 8–15 years of PM experience in electrical distribution or EPC, with strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear and protection systems, and familiarity with ABB ELDS portfolio. Hybrid work model in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8-15 years of project management experience in electrical distribution, electrification, power systems, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, protection systems, substations, and electrical distribution solutions.
• Proven experience managing project execution, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with ABB ELDS portfolio, IEC standards, and Indonesian industrial/infrastructure project environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, customers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, SAP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, manage project risk, and ensure opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Drive formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with the contract.
