Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships and co-ops valued).
• Solid understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Basic knowledge of process simulation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analyzing process data to identify areas for improvement.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions.
• Participate in process studies and pilot plant trials.
• Help develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs and SOPs.
• Conduct literature searches and research new technologies for process enhancement.
• Assist in the preparation of process safety reviews and reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes.
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to understand plant operations.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
