Pt Artha Telekomindo in Tangerang, Banten seeks a Lead Process Development Engineer to translate laboratory discoveries into scalable industrial processes. You will lead engineers and chemists, guiding technology transfer and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires a Master’s/Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with 7+ years in process development, strong reaction engineering knowledge, and proficiency in Aspen Plus or ChemCAD.

• Proven expertise in chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.
• Strong experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with GMP is a plus; experience with safety studies (HAZOP) is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Lead Process Development Engineer - Tangerang, Banten

This role is pivotal in translating laboratory discoveries into viable, scalable industrial processes. You will lead a team of engineers and chemists, focusing on the design, optimization, and validation of new chemical manufacturing processes. This on-site position requires close collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of new chemical processes from laboratory scale through pilot and commercial scale.
• Design and manage pilot plant trials, collecting and analyzing data to define critical process parameters and ensure scalability.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P\u0026IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement necessary safety measures.
• Collaborate closely with R\u0026D chemists to understand reaction mechanisms and optimize synthesis conditions.
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and successful implementation of new processes.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues during scale-up and initial production runs.
• Evaluate and recommend process equipment and technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior process development engineers.
• Ensure all process development activities adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
