Id90 Pt Japfa Food Indonesia is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for Manufacturing Operations in Semarang. The role focuses on boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and improving product quality by applying lean and Six Sigma methods across production lines.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering and 3-7 years of related experience, with strong data analysis skills and experience using Minitab and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke).
• Design, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for optimized processes.
• Collect and analyze production data to track performance, identify trends, and measure the impact of implemented changes.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure successful integration of process improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment, assessing their impact on process efficiency.
• Develop and maintain visual management tools and dashboards to monitor KPIs.
• Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and other continuous improvement workshops.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in process improvement and manufacturing technology.
