Job summary

PT NEW CORAL SEA seeks an HR Manager (Mandarin Only) to lead recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations in its Jakarta operation. The role requires Mandarin fluency and 3–5 years of HR leadership experience within a compliance-conscious environment.

The incumbent will ensure adherence to Indonesian labour laws, oversee HR documentation and MIS, and contribute to policy development as part of a dynamic Talent Pool team.

Qualifications

• Native Mandarin fluency (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR management roles.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and regulations.
• Experience in designing and delivering employee development programmes is preferred.
• Knowledge of international HR practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: job postings, sourcing, interviews, assessments and selections.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance skills and career progression.
• Administer performance management systems including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws and company policies; maintain HR records and MIS.
• Support development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and onboard qualified candidates across all organisational levels

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviews, assessments, and selection processes

Design and deliver employee training and development programmes to enhance skills, competencies, and career progression

Administer performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms

Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling

Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, regulations, and company policies

Maintain and update HR documentation, records, and management information systems

Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) - this is a mandatory requirement

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in human resources management roles, preferably in a similar organisational setting
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and employment regulations
• Experience in designing and delivering employee development and training programmes
• Knowledge of international HR practices and cultural sensitivity is advantageous
