Job summary

Meratus Group is seeking a Hull & Repair Superintendent MSM in Surabaya to oversee docking, survey coordination, and reporting for vessel hull and structural maintenance. You will manage docking schedules, prepare repair lists and cost estimates, monitor shipyard activities, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate for each docking project.

Role requires a naval engineering degree, at least 3 years in a similar role, fluent English, and willingness to be based in Surabaya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in the same role.
• Proficient in English.
• Willing to be placed at Surabaya.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the docking schedule for all vessels.
• Coordinate Pre-Docking Surveys with Ship Management.
• Prepare Detailed Repair List and Estimated Docking Cost.
• Monitor docking activities at the shipyard (Blasting, Painting, Steel Work, Outfitting).
• Attend surveys by Class Surveyors and Port Authorities.
• Prepare Docking Evaluation Report and Preventive Action Plan.
• Maintain complete docking documentation and reports.
• Coach and assess team performance per HR procedures.
