Qualifikationen

• Specific Education (ATT/ ANT) required; Minimum ATT II.
• Minimum 2 years sailing as Chief Officer on board.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Technical Superintendent.
• Willing to work on shore.
• Placement in Head Office, Surabaya.

Aufgaben

• Plan and execute Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Continuous Maintenance System (CMS) in accordance with procedures and in compliance with flag and port state requirements.
• Organize repairs to vessel equipment (deck/ engine/ electrical/ navigation/ cargo gear/ deck) upon request by Ship Manager or vessel.
• Ensure repairs are carried out per makers' operating instructions and prudent engineering practice to maintain or improve vessel operation efficiency.
• Report to the Ship Manager about ship performance and ensure data accuracy.
• Visit vessels at Surabaya/home base to verify progressive maintenance and SMS compliance.
• Conduct detail on-board inspections at least every three months to verify safety and equipment operation procedures.
• Prepare maintenance/activity plans for budgeting and docking.
• Prepare dry dock repair specifications in addition to the vessel's repair list and coordinate with Ship Manager.
• Assist Ship Manager in preparing and approving docking budgets; submit daily progress reports.
• Monitor personnel competency and conduct evaluations; manage personnel changes as needed.
• Coordinate with Ship Management Insurance Department to prepare required documents for incidents.
• Evaluate subcontractors used every six months and report to SMS.
