Cladtek Holdings Pte Ltd. seeks an HSE Officer to monitor and manage health, safety and environmental programs at the Batam factory.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, conduct daily safety patrols, and support management in building a strong safety culture across all shifts. You will coordinate with workshop supervisors, verify equipment certifications and codes, and drive improvements to processes that protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Diploma 3 in Engineering or HSE or equivalent.
• Senior high school with 4 years’ relevant experience acceptable.
• AK3 certification and knowledge of SMK3, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 are preferred.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills for reporting.
• Familiarity with HSE training and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, manage and control HSE applications in the factory per local regulations and ISO standards.
• Perform daily safety patrols and ensure PPE usage compliance during work.
• Propose improvements to HSE systems and procedures for safer operations.
• Coordinate with supervisors to verify lifting equipment and cylinders meet safety codes.
• Ensure waste water treatment, waste management, and environmental monitoring are functioning.
• Deliver PPE and communicate best practices and lessons learned in HSE.
• Report potential pollution and ensure timely corrective actions.

Description du poste

• To monitor, manage, coordinate and control of all application of the Health, safety and Environment in the factory area based on Local Government (SMK3), ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and Company Regulations;
• To be familiar with the HSE Management System, SMK3 and be responsible for all HSE side, control and inspection matters pertaining to the successful health, Safety and Environment by the Plant;
• To support the workshop Management Teams and employees to ensure a safety culture within the workplace exists where by Managers, Supervisors and Employees are accountable and responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental conditions and practices;
• To ensuring local HSE processes and systems are in places and effective to achieve competency and personal responsibility, ensure safe conditions, practices and environmental stewardship for the facility, and HSE compliance with all laws, regulations and customer requirements. The Safety Officer will provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to facilitate and conduct basic HSE analysis, recommendations and control implementation;
• To ensure the emergency equipment available and ready to use all the time (Fire extinguisher, alarm, first aid kit etc.).

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures implementation and makes necessary adaptations to achieve effectiveness of applicable HS&E policies and procedures relevant to the local workshop;
• Conducting daily safety patrol of HSE implementation in the workshop such as monitoring the employee wearing the PPE whilst doing their job whether suitable base on safety requirements, monitoring all the Cladtek activities to be conducted in safe manner.;
• To propose any improvements to the system and to the procedures for Health, Safety, Environment in the company;
• Collaboration with material handling supervisor to monitoring and ensure all the lifting equipment, heavy vehicle available and safe to use (certification, color coding and safe condition)
• Collaboration with production supervisor to monitoring and ensure all the cylinders available and safe to use (certification, color coding and safe condition)

• Collaboration with cleaning service to monitoring and ensure all the shop floor areas are clean
• Monitoring ensure the process of waste water treatment plant at pickling properly;
• Monitoring and ensure the waste management properly;
• Monitoring the environment condition and report to HSE manager if there is potential pollution or pollution.
• Deliver the PPE to all the employees;
• Effectively communicates best practices and/or lessons learned of HSE
• Accountable for all the works done by him and all the inspection performed by the inspectors working under his command.
• Working within the company approved delegation of authority, budgets, and tasks assigned by superior.

EDUCATION

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Minimum:

• Minimum Diploma 3 in Engineering or HSE related major.
• Minimum Senior high school with 4 years’ experience at the same positions

• Certified AK3 Labor Department.
• Understanding about SMK3, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Fluent/understand organization related tools and process.
• Familiarity or proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Presentation) and Adobe editor.
