Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Indonesia is seeking an HSE and Sustainability Professional to support our Local Service Unit.

In this role, you will drive safety culture, ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards, and enable continuous improvement across operations with internal and external stakeholders. You will lead incident investigations, audits, risk assessments, and the deployment of HSE programs and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience in HSE roles within industrial or technical environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Able to support managers and employees in HSE topics.
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and digital HSE systems.
• Structured, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of incident management and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Promote proactive HSE culture by guiding employees and managers in daily HSE decisions.
• Lead and support incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up on lessons learned.
• Conduct internal HSE audits and ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements.
• Analyze HSE performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate risk assessments, training activities, and ensure appropriate HSE tools and equipment are available and used.
• Drive implementation of HSE programs and progress toward key HSE objectives and KPIs.
• Support project team in implementing HSE programs.
