Job summary

PT Legrand Indonesia is seeking a Health and Safety, Environment Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations. You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and monitor environmental performance across manufacturing sites.

With a diploma/bachelor in environmental science or related field and 2–3 years of experience, you will liaise with regulators and internal teams, respond to incidents, and promote sustainability practices within

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in health, safety and environmental management, preferably in industrial/manufacturing.
• Kemnaker-certified First Aid (P3K) certificate is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety, environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Organize and deliver health and safety training programs for employees.
• Investigate workplace incidents, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Monitor waste management practices, including recycling and hazardous disposal.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and environmentally friendly practices.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports as required by regulators.
• Provide regular reports to management on health, safety and environmental performance.
• Coordinate emergencies and liaise with external agencies when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Engage with external stakeholders to ensure compliance and address concerns.
