Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking an HSE Coordinator based in Balikpapan to lead HSE programs and support ISO 17025/17020 accreditation efforts. The role focuses on incident investigations, audits, and developing safety procedures for ongoing regulatory compliance within a laboratory environment.

Essential experience includes managing HSE systems in lab settings (coal, minerals, FMCG or similar), and delivering technical HSE training to staff. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement HSE Management Systems and related policies.
• Monitor and report on HSE systems effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025/17020 related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and report on HSE programs in the Kalimantan region.
• Investigate workplace incidents and conduct regular audits.
• Develop and implement new safety procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Deliver HSE workshops and training sessions.
• Support laboratory accreditation activities based on ISO standards.
