Job summary

Seven-Retail Group is hiring an HR Operations Associate to source, assess, and recruit Mandarin teachers who meet language and teaching standards. You will screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate tests and demonstrations to ensure high-quality hires.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle, keep a robust candidate pipeline, and collaborate with Curriculum, Operations and HR to meet hiring timelines across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Experience recruiting for teachers or education roles preferred.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred but not mandatory.

Your Day-to-Day

Responsible for sourcing, assessing, and recruiting qualified Mandarin teachers who meet the program’s language proficiency and teaching standards.

• Responsible for sourcing, assessing, and recruiting qualified Mandarin teachers who meet the program’s language proficiency and teaching standards.
• Screen applications and conduct initial interviews
• Coordinate Mandarin proficiency tests, teaching demonstrations, and user interviews.
• Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
• Maintain an updated candidate pipeline to support teacher demand across locations.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, Operations, and HR teams to ensure recruitment standards and timelines are met.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Mandarin Studies, or a related field.
• Experience in recruitment, preferably for teachers or education-related roles.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Organized, target-oriented, and able to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
