Job summary

Monopoli Hotel Bukittinggi in West Sumatra is seeking a Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and expand the hotel's market share in Bukittinggi. You will build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, OTAs, and other key segments to generate profitable business.

The role requires at least 1 year in hotel sales/marketing, strong hospitality knowledge, and excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales or Marketing within the hotel/hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality products, market trends, and sales techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, OTAs, and other key market segments to drive profitable business
• Conduct proactive sales activities including direct sales calls, client presentations, site inspections, and promotional events to increase room reservations
• Possess an extensive database and network (Corporate, Government, MICE)
• Manage and update the customer database to ensure accurate sales reporting and follow-ups
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to develop effective sales and marketing strategies
• Liaise with hotel operational departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management
