Job summary

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto invites applications for a Storekeeper to manage the hotel’s daily store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and recording inventory to ensure stock accuracy and seamless hotel functioning.

You will apply FIFO/FEFO, perform regular stock checks, and coordinate with Purchasing and departments to resolve discrepancies, maintain documentation, and support audits in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational School graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, inventory control, or similar role, preferably in hotel industry.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, goods receiving, and stock control procedures.
• Familiar with FIFO and FEFO stock rotation methods.
• Able to operate Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods; ensure quantities, quality, and documentation match purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records; monitor levels and reconcile with system records.
• Issue goods to hotel departments based on approved requisitions; ensure proper authorisation and documentation.
