Job summary

Swiss-Belhotel International is seeking a Hotel Financial Controller / Chief Accountant to lead all accounting and finance functions for the property. You will manage budgeting, reporting, and cash flow, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and SBI standards.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and fluency in English to interact with regional and corporate teams. Experience with financial systems and hotel accounting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and finance functions for the hotel.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and GAAP, taxes, and licenses.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial targets.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for SBI, GM, and owners.
• Analyze performance to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Maintain complete ledgers, journals, and confidential records.
• Manage banking, overdrafts, and time deposits.
• Oversee A/P and A/R processes and hotel audits.
• Lead budgeting with GM and department heads.
• Oversee procurement, purchasing, and inventory controls.
• Plan succession, training, and professional development.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recruitment for division staff.
• Coordinate with regional/corporate teams on finance matters.
• Ensure maintenance of policies, procedures, and operating manuals.
