Job summary

RedDoorz seeks an experienced Facilities Engineer to lead maintenance and reliability of MEP systems across multiple hotels. You will establish preventive maintenance programs, conduct audits, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires 7+ years in hospitality engineering, strong project management, and a track record of managing complex facility improvements and CAPEX planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering/facility management experience, preferably in hotels or commercial properties.
• Hospitality engineering experience in 3–4 star or higher hotels is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and building facilities.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance, audits, contractors, BOQ, CAPEX, and facility improvement projects.
• Good understanding of building safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee hotel building facilities, engineering systems, and preventive maintenance across the portfolio.
• Ensure reliability and quality of MEP systems and other critical hotel facilities.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance standards, schedules, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and engineering quality audits across properties.
• Ensure facilities meet required safety, operational, and quality standards.
• Monitor engineering-related CAPEX/OPEX and recommend improvements or asset replacement.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, property teams, and project teams for maintenance, renovation, and new openings.
• Engage in acquisition due diligence to assess investment and technical condition of potential properties.
