About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Purchasing and Logistic Manager to join our team in Semarang, Central Java. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and cost-effective operation of our hospital's supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement: Develop purchasing policies, manage budgets, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Vendor & Tender Management: Lead competitive bidding and negotiate optimal terms for medical supplies and equipment.
• Inventory & Demand Planning: Forecast demand and maintain stock levels to ensure continuous supply availability.
• Logistics & Warehousing: Oversee storage, cold-chain operations, and distribution in compliance with safety standards.
• Cross-Departmental Alignment: Coordinate with clinical teams and pharmacy to meet supply requirements and resolve bottlenecks.
• Team Leadership & KPIs: Supervise the supply chain team, monitor performance metrics, and maintain accurate documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare Management, Business, or related field. Supply Chain or Customs certification (e.g., CITP) is a plus.
• Experience: 5-7+ years in hospital procurement, healthcare logistics, and managing large budgets/vendors.
• Import-Export & Customs: Hands-on experience in medical/pharma import licensing, customs clearance and trade finance.
• Cold-Chain & Logistics: Proficiency in global cold-chain management (GDP standards) and managing international freight forwarders.
• Core Skills & Tech: Expertise in inventory/ERP software, strong negotiation skills, Business English fluency, and knowledge of pharma/medical device regulations.
