Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a procurement professional to support hospital-wide purchasing and distribution of medicines, equipment, and general goods. You will source suppliers, negotiate prices, and create POs to ensure timely fulfillment in line with hospital service standards.

The role requires basic procurement knowledge, familiarity with healthcare regulations, and strong organizational skills to manage orders and documentation across hospital units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any major.
• Background in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of procurement/inventory/administrative support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier relations.
• Familiarity with healthcare procurement regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills for managing orders and procurement documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing and distribution of goods (medicine, general/alkes) within the hospital.
• Identify suppliers and present demos of goods/services/equipment to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to optimize hospital costs.
• Prepare and issue POs to relevant departments and suppliers.
• Place orders by phone or arrange external purchases to fulfill requests.
• Maintain complete and accurate administrative data for orders and receipts.
• Follow up with suppliers to prevent delays and resolve issues.
• Collect data and generate reports for supervisors.
• Support quality and safety procedures via training and documentation.
