Job summary

TechConnect GmbH in Jakarta is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to define and execute the company’s technology and cybersecurity strategy. You will lead high-performing teams across SOC, incident response, threat monitoring, and cyber defense operations.

You will drive service delivery for premium cybersecurity offerings, shape secure architecture, and advise enterprise and government clients on risks and solutions, including pre-sales support and executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in technology and cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Hands-on with SOC, incident response, threat monitoring, and MSSP environments.
• Deep cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, IAM/PAM, EDR/XDR, and security architecture expertise.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls frameworks.
• Proven consulting or delivery of enterprise security projects with client-facing work.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, OSCP preferred.
• Familiarity with Google SecOps, Mandiant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Splunk.

Requirements

• Core Domain Expertise: Proven experience managing a SOC, incident response, cybersecurity operations, or working within a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment.
• Technical Depth: Strong expertise in cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, network security, IAM/PAM, EDR/XDR, and security architecture with deep understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cyber risk management.
• Frameworks & Standards: Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
• Consulting & Delivery: Experience leading cybersecurity consulting, enterprise security projects, or client-facing engagements.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Certifications (Preferred): Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.
• Technology Stack (Advantageous): Familiarity with tools such as Google SecOps, Mandiant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk.
