Job summary

A global cybersecurity firm is seeking a Mid-Senior level professional to manage its Security Operations (SecOps) team in Indonesia. This role involves leading security initiatives, mentoring staff, and contributing to the security of the open source ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOC architecture, incident response, and Linux security practices, along with proven leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security risk management frameworks such as NIST CSF.
• Strong understanding of SOC architecture including logging and network segmentation.
• Drive to be at the forefront of technology security.

Responsibilities

• Hire and mentor a team of outstanding technical security professionals.
• Define Canonical's SecOps security standards and playbooks.
• Evaluate, select, and implement new security tools and practices.
• Identify, contain, and guide the remediation of security threats.

Skills

Expert technical understanding of SOCs from the ground up

Ability to define, implement, automate and measure effective incident response playbooks

Proven track record of mitigating advanced threats

Excellent business English writing and presentation skills

Education

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
