Job summary

Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) is seeking a Department Head of Safety Strategy & Assurance to lead group-wide safety strategies, governance frameworks, and risk management across the MIND ID Group anchored in critical risk prevention. You will develop safety standards, coordinate audits and incident investigations, and drive performance measurement to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Background in OSH, engineering, or mining.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a corporate role within a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of safety strategies, policies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks aligned with the Group’s business strategy.
• Develop and harmonize safety standards, guidelines, and management systems to promote consistent implementation across the Group.
• Coordinate the identification, assessment, and control of safety risks, particularly critical risks with the potential to cause fatalities.
• Lead the development and implementation of Critical Risk Management and fatality prevention programs.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and assurance of safety policies, standards, and programs across the Group.
• Coordinate the evaluation of audit findings, inspections, incident investigations, and workplace accidents, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish safety performance measurement, analysis, and reporting to support management decision-making.
• Assess safety maturity and formulate recommendations for continuous improvement.
