Job summary

PT AJE Indonesia is seeking a senior R&D leader with 5–8 years in beverage R&D and a background in food science or related fields. You will oversee all R&D activities, drive NPD, ensure regulatory compliance with BPOM and halal requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale concepts to mass production.

The role requires strong leadership, project management and stakeholder coordination with government bodies. This position is based in Indonesia and reports to the R&D head.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5–8 years of R&D experience in F&B industry.
• Managerial or team leadership experience.
• Strong NPD, formulation, innovation and commercialization skills.
• Good understanding of BPOM regulations, product registration, food safety and labeling.
• Knowledge of halal certification processes (SJPH/BPJPH/LPH).
• Good communication and coordination with BPOM, BPJPH, LPH and government bodies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Research & Development activities at PT AJE Indonesia.
• Lead New Product Development from concept, formulation, trials, pilot, mass production and launch.
• Drive product innovation and continuous improvement to meet market needs and business strategy.
• Manage product registration, licensing and regulatory compliance with BPOM.
• Lead halal certification processes and SJPH requirements.
• Establish and maintain relationships with BPOM, BPJPH, LPH and relevant government institutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure successful NPD execution.
• Lead and develop the R&D team and ensure achievement of departmental targets and KPIs.
