Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Head of Mining Engineering to lead the establishment of on-site mining operations for a greenfield project in Southeast Sulawesi.

You will drive regulatory compliance with ESDM, oversee strategic mine planning, safety, and environmental protection while leading a growing operations team.

This role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in nickel mining, and the ability to coordinate with government agencies as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Minimum 8+ years in nickel mining with managerial or KTT experience
• In-depth knowledge of ESDM regulations and RKAB procedures
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• English proficiency for technical coordination with teams and government stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with mining regulations (ESDM) and act as liaison with government agencies, managing permits and environmental licenses
• Lead preparation, evaluation and control of RKAB, Feasibility Studies, and AMDAL to support mine planning and strategies
• Oversee all mining operations including overburden removal, ore getting, hauling, stockpile management and shipping
• Lead HSE initiatives enforcing GMP, SMKP, and environmental compliance
• Manage, mentor and evaluate the operations team and contractors
