Job summary

PT Aldmic Indonesia is seeking a Senior Frontend / Server Frontend Engineer to build and optimize high-throughput ecommerce frontends. You will own customer-facing presentation layers, architect server-side frontend environments (SSR, edge caching), and collaborate with Marketing to drive user acquisition, CRO, and semantic SEO.

The role demands hands-on coding, leadership by example, and a track record of shipping in high-traffic platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building customer-facing frontends in high-traffic e-commerce environments.
• Deep understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and data routing to optimize crawlability and performance.
• Ability to partner with marketing to translate growth strategies into production features.
• Strong coding discipline and ability to ship features end-to-end in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Production-Level Coding: Actively write, review, and maintain highly optimized client-side and server-side frontend code.
• Server Frontend & Architectures: Design and maintain server-side frontend environments (SSR, Edge caching, template rendering).
• Traffic & Conversion Optimization: Implement core Web Vitals, analytics logging, A/B tests, and semantic SEO frameworks.
• High-Volume E-Commerce Operations: Support and scale user journeys on high-traffic properties with sub-second rendering at peak times.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Translate commercial requirements into technical implementations with designers, PMs, and marketing.

Job description

We are seeking a high-performing, hands-onSenior Frontend / Server Frontend Engineerwho lives to write clean, high-performance code and possesses the growth mindset required to scale platform traffic. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering execution and commercial growth. You will own our customer-facing presentation layer, architecting blazing-fast frontend server environments while actively collaborating with our Marketing division to engineer client-side features that drive user acquisition, improve technical SEO, and maximize retention.

This is an impactful, execution-heavy role.We need a builder who actively codes, leads by technical example, and has a proven track record of handling high-traffic platforms.

Core Responsibilities

Production-Level Coding:Actively write, review, and maintain highly optimized client-side and server-side frontend code. Move fluidly between rapid custom prototyping and scalable production releases.

Server Frontend & Architectures:Design and maintain server-side frontend environments (SSR, Edge caching, template rendering) ensuring flawless data synchronization between our presentation layers and backend systems.

Traffic & Conversion Optimization:Partner directly with the Marketing team to turn customer growth strategies into technical reality. Own the technical implementation of core Web Vitals, custom analytics logging, rapid A/B testing variations, and semantic SEO frameworks.

High-Volume E-Commerce Operations:Support and scale user journeys on high-traffic web properties, maintaining sub-second rendering metrics during peak seasonal traffic and flash sales campaigns.

Cross-Functional Synergy:Act as the technical translator for commercial requirements, aligning closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and marketing specialists to preserve platform speed while maximizing conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Technical & Professional Requirements

Production Tech Stack:Comprehensive, hands-on experience developing withinLaravelenvironments (Blade templates, Laravel Mix/Vite compilation) and building/customizing high-growthShopifystores (Liquid templates, custom application integrations, or headless setups).

Server-Side Rendering (SSR) & SEO Expertise:Deep technical understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) paradigms, server/client logging setups, and data-routing architectures engineered specifically to optimize search engine crawlability and page-load milestones.

Growth Mindset:Strong collaborative skills and clear business empathy, with a proven history of shipping features alongside marketing teams to intentionally move growth metrics.

What We Do NOT Want

Theoretical managers or architects who no longer build things themselves; this position requires active daily contributions to the codebase.

Pure backend developers who look at frontend tasks as an afterthought, or frontend designers who cannot confidently troubleshoot server logs, build pipelines, or database-view layers.
