Job summary

Kredivo Group in Indonesia seeks a Head of Data Science to lead a 20+ person team spanning credit risk, collections, and growth modeling. This senior role partners with the Chief Data Officer to define vision, priorities, and a long-term roadmap while driving impactful data-driven decisions at scale.

You will mentor talent, balance hands-on work with strategy, and ensure seamless production deployment of models. Strong communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or machine learning, with 3–5 years in a leadership/management role.
• Diverse domain experience across credit risk, collections, growth, fraud, or customer analytics.
• Strong technical skills across data analysis, feature engineering, model development and production deployment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in the Indonesian market or Southeast Asian financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 20+ data scientists across multiple domains and workstreams.
• Collaborate with the CDO to define strategic vision, priorities, and long-term roadmaps for data science.
• Champion best practices in model development, validation, and deployment.
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences and present updates to leadership.
