Job summary

Kredivo Group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Jakarta. You will own end-to-end ML model development from idea to deployment, collaborating with analysts and ML engineers to deliver impactful credit risk and growth models.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a strong quantitative background, and proficiency in Python or R. Experience with SQL/No-SQL and excellent English communication are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Minimum >5 years of relevant work experience.
• Masters, PhD or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, AI).
• Capable of building robust end-to-end predictive models using ML techniques.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Exposure to RDBMS and No-SQL platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Bonus: experience with alternate data for credit risk.
• Bonus: end-to-end Deep Learning and/or NLP models.
• Deep risk domain expertise, credit risk modelling (3-4yrs).
• Independent and good communication skills.
• Strong in statistics and math.

Responsibilities

• Turn discoveries into machine learning models in a multi-country team.
• Prototype ML models from credit risk to growth-related models.
• Research & Development to improve models using diverse data.
• Contribute to elevating Kredivo Data Science capabilities.
