Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading organization seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Communications to lead and strengthen its corporate communications, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement agenda.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, responsible for shaping corporate narratives, managing media and stakeholder relationships, overseeing crisis communications, and driving both internal and external communications strategies. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands on execution and have a proven track record in corporate reputation management.
Position Overview
Lead the corporate communications function and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management team. Drive corporate reputation, executive communications, media engagement, crisis management, and internal communications while ensuring consistent messaging across all stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporate communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Shape corporate narratives, key messaging, brand positioning, and communication frameworks.
- Advise senior management on reputation management, sensitive communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead media relations and maintain strong relationships with key media stakeholders.
- Manage crisis and issue communications, including response planning and protocol development.
- Oversee leadership and internal communications programs, including Town Halls and executive messaging.
- Establish communication governance, approval processes, spokesperson frameworks, and communication playbooks.
- Manage corporate digital communication and social media channels.
- Lead, coach, and develop the corporate communications team.
- Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness through media coverage, sentiment analysis, share of voice, reach, and reputation metrics.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Political Science, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in:
- Corporate Communications
- Corporate Affairs
- Strategic Communications
- Public Affairs
- Corporate Secretary functions
- Communications Consultancy
- Experience operating at Head, Senior Manager, AVP, VP, Director, or equivalent level.
- Proven experience working directly with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and senior executive teams.
- Demonstrated ownership of a corporate communications function beyond traditional PR or marketing communications.
