Job summary

Cooperative Energy Futures seeks a Director of Community Engagement and Outreach to provide strategic and operational leadership for outreach, member engagement, and subscriber growth initiatives. This role builds and guides an Outreach & Engagement Department to expand access to community-controlled clean energy and strengthen partnerships with members and community partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in outreach, engagement, nonprofit leadership, or related field.
• 3+ years leading and developing a team of professional staff.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for outreach, engagement, and subscriber growth initiatives.
• Develop and manage partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Lead the Outreach & Engagement Department with a focus on activating members, enrollment events, and campaigns.
• Represent the department in organizational planning and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Use CRM data and metrics to improve performance and manage budgets and contracts.
