Job summary

Electrum is seeking a Head of Aftersales to lead repair, maintenance and preventive maintenance across our electric two-wheeler service network. This role will build reliable workshop operations, strengthen mechanic capability and deliver consistent service through internal teams and third-party workshop partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive aftersales, repair, and multi-location workshop operations.
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, repair processes, and preventive maintenance.
• Proven experience managing technical teams (mechanics, foremen, advisors).
• Experience guiding third-party workshops via SLAs and audits.
• Ability to improve service metrics using operational data.
• Knowledge of spare parts planning, warranty, and budget management.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead aftersales operations across internal workshops and third-party partners.
• Develop workshop network and operating model to support fleet growth.
• Establish service standards, diagnostics, repair workflows, and checks.
• Build preventive-maintenance programs from specs and field data.
• Manage performance: turnaround time, backlog, first-time-fix, costs.
• Lead workshop managers, foremen, mechanics, and trainers.
• Manage third-party workshops with SLAs, audits, capacity, reviews.
• Control budgets, labor productivity, quotes, and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate spare parts with SCM to reduce delays.
• Work with Customer Service for updates and rider experience.
• Coordinate warranty with Field Quality & Warranty for evidence.
• Feedback workshop issues to Hardware/Product and track actions.
