The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years in automotive aftersales with 5+ years in senior leadership. English fluency and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in aftersales/service ops in automotive.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership overseeing national ops.
• Strong understanding of workshop management, warranty, parts supply chain and dealer networks.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end spare parts supply chain, inventory planning and distribution strategy for principal and dealer networks.
• Standardize and ensure SST and workshop facilities across all dealer touchpoints.
• Oversee warranty standards, claims, RSA and PUDO service operations.
• Direct comprehensive training, certification and skill development programs for technicians and service staff.
• Monitor vehicle quality and optimize aftersales KPIs via DMS/CRM.

Chery Indonesia is the local subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese automotive company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of passenger vehicles. This position will be for our sub-brands, Drive You Elegance!

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of After Sales to lead principal after-sales operations nationwide, covering spare parts, service operations, warranty, technical and quality sections.

Responsibilities:

• Spare Parts Management: Lead end-to-end parts supply chain, inventory planning, and distribution strategy for both principal and dealer networks.
• Service Tools & Workshop Readiness: Ensure the completeness and standardization of Service Special Tools (SST), general equipment, and workshop facilities across all dealer touchpoints.
• Warranty & Service Programs: Oversee warranty standards, claims administration, Roadside Assistance (RSA), and Pick-Up & Drop-Off (PUDO) service operations.
• Technical Training & Development: Direct comprehensive training, certification, and skill enhancement programs for technicians and service personnel (principal & dealers).
• Quality & Performance Monitoring: Monitor vehicle quality issues, lead rapid technical resolutions, and optimize aftersales KPIs via Dealer Management Systems (DMS) / CRM.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional aftersales/service operations experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial/leadership role overseeing national operations.
• Deep understanding of workshop management, warranty claims, parts supply chain, and dealer networks.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams, including service advisors, technicians, and parts staff.
• Strong capability in tracking KPIs using CRM / Dealer Management Systems (DMS), paired with English fluency, solid stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
