Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards (HACCP), and kitchen management best practices.
• Demonstrated ability in menu planning, costing, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and appealing menus, considering seasonal ingredients, client preferences, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage all daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation for events and regular services.
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high performance, adherence to recipes, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Control food costs through effective inventory management, procurement, and waste reduction strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a spotless and compliant kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the event planning and service teams to ensure seamless execution of catering services.
