Job summary

Qualifications

Manuza is looking for a Head Cashier to oversee cashiering operations and support the smooth flow of payments across our venue in Bali. You will be responsible for supervising cashier activities, maintaining accurate records, handling cash and payment transactions, and ensuring the team delivers an efficient and professional guest experience.

What You’ll Experience

• Lead and support cashiering operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Work closely with the Front of House, Operations, Finance, and management teams
• Oversee daily cash handling, payment processing, and transaction records
• Support cashier training, performance, and day-to-day coordination
• Help maintain strong financial controls and accurate end-of-shift reporting
• Contribute to a smooth and professional guest experience from payment through closing
• Develop your leadership and operational management skills within a hospitality environment

What You’ll Be Doing

You will supervise daily cashier operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will monitor cash registers, payment terminals, refunds, discounts, voids, and other adjustments while following company procedures and financial controls.

You will be responsible for counting and reconciling cash at the beginning and end of shifts, preparing cashier reports, and reporting any discrepancies to the relevant manager. You will also ensure that payment records, receipts, and supporting documentation are complete and properly maintained.

You will guide and support cashier team members, coordinate shift coverage, and help ensure everyone follows service, cash-handling, and operational standards. You will work closely with other departments to resolve payment-related issues and support efficient service during busy periods.

• Have you worked as a Head Cashier, Cashier Supervisor, Cashier, or in a similar hospitality finance role?
• Do you have experience handling cash, card payments, POS systems, and daily reconciliation?
• Are you confident supervising, supporting, and training cashier team members?
• Are you organised and detail-oriented when managing transactions, reports, and financial records?
• Can you identify and follow up on cash discrepancies, payment issues, and transaction errors?
• Are you comfortable working closely with Operations, Finance, Front of House, and management teams?
• Can you remain calm, professional, and accurate during busy service periods?
• Are you flexible to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays?
• Can you communicate confidently in both English and Bahasa Indonesia?
