Job summary

Carbon Ethics in Jakarta is seeking a Business & Growth Officer to drive new business opportunities within forestry carbon projects. You will manage key stakeholder relationships, prepare proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to align market needs with project execution capabilities.

The role requires 1–3 years in relevant fields, strong communication skills in Indonesian and English, and an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Communications, Environmental Studies, or related fields, with strong strategic thinking and adaptability.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, or commercial roles, preferably in sustainability or carbon markets.
• Understanding of carbon markets, climate finance, nature-based solutions, and sustainability market trends is a plus.
• Proven track record in deal origination, partnership management, and driving revenue growth is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams in carbon projects and related services.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with project/land owners, buyers, investors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Pitching and Presentations: Prepare and deliver proposals, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Market Monitoring and Project Coordination: Monitor market trends and collaborate with internal teams to align market needs with execution capabilities.
