Job summary

Murzallawfirm is seeking a Head of Business Development and Marketing to lead the group’s BD and marketing strategy and team in Jakarta. You will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and collaborate with legal and consulting teams to craft proposals and engagement letters.

You will drive revenue growth, oversee the BD pipeline, and develop annual plans, budgets, and KPIs while representing the firm’s brand across markets and channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Law, or related field.
• At least five years in business development, sales, account management, or related role.
• Experience leading a team and driving BD/marketing initiatives.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue or client acquisition targets.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BD and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, manage, and evaluate BD/Marketing team performance.
• Identify and pursue prospective clients, referrals, and partnerships.
• Manage BD pipeline and follow-up on qualified leads.
• Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and engagement letters with legal/consulting teams.
• Maintain client, lead, and BD records in CRM or internal system.
• Develop annual BD/marketing plan and budget; monitor KPIs and revenue targets.
