Job summary

PT Jakarta Prima Cranes is seeking an Engineering Lead with a strong background in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical engineering to drive design and execution on large-scale conveyor projects across Indonesia.

Responsibilities include supervising Engineering teams, coordinating design planning with engineers and drafters, reviewing drawings and BOMs, approving timesheets, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with GPA ≥ 3.20 and graduation 2008 or later.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform calculations.
• Experience leading cross-discipline engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate personnel across mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical scopes.
• Coordinate design planning with Engineers and Drafters for multiple projects.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and technical calculations.
• Review and approve timesheets and monthly reports for Engineering staff.
• Assess department performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.

Job description

Minimum Education :Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering). Note : Minimum GPA of 3.20 & Graduated in 2008 or later.

Proficient in engineering drawings and drafting.

Proficient in design and engineering calculation software applications.

Able to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

Strong leadership skills.

Knowledge of leadership and management principles.

Capable of performing value engineering and material engineering on large-scale projects.

Strong understanding of construction planning and design concepts.

Able to motivate and develop human resources.

Minimum Experience: 4–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the conveyor industry.

Other Requirements: Strong understanding of Project Management and Project Execution processes.

Qualifications:

Supervise, monitor, and evaluate all subordinate personnel, both technically and non-technically, across Mechanical, Civil/Structural, and Electrical work scopes.

Coordinate design planning activities with Engineers and/or Drafters for Mechanical, Civil/Structural, and Electrical projects.

Follow up on approved design plans from customers and ensure their conversion into construction/execution drawings.

Review working drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical calculations prepared by Engineers and/or Drafters.

Review and approve timesheets, monthly reports of Engineering staff, and other matters related to the Engineering Department.

Evaluate the performance and output of the Engineering Department and recommend necessary improvement actions to management.

Perform other duties assigned by superiors in accordance with the scope of responsibilities.

Carry out all activities in compliance with the Integrated Management System (QHSE) based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
