Job summary

PT UCoal Sumberdaya is seeking a senior Maintenance Manager to lead conveyor maintenance across heavy industries in South Sumatra. You will design and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective programs to maximize equipment availability.

Lead RCFA, reliability initiatives, and manage budgets, spare parts, and maintenance teams. Strong CMMS and PLC/SCADA experience plus ISO 55000 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering or related.
• Minimum 7 years in conveyor maintenance or heavy industries.
• Minimum 3 years in supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical drive systems, PLC/SCADA, predictive maintenance, RCFA & reliability engineering, CMMS.
• ISO 55000 asset management familiarity is an advantage.

Job description

Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for conveyor systems.

Ensure high equipment availability and minimize operational downtime.

Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage maintenance activities for belt conveyors, drive systems, gearboxes, ship loaders/unloaders, transfer chutes, stackers, and related equipment.

Monitor maintenance KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and maintenance costs.

Manage maintenance budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and optimize spare parts inventory.

Lead and develop maintenance personnel including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including LOTO, PTW, and contractor safety management.

Coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure efficient maintenance execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of experience in conveyor maintenance, bulk material handling, mining, ports, power plants, cement, or heavy industries.

Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of:

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

SK.MPE/DJPU No.06.K/30/DJB/2011 dated January 28, 2011.

The Company’s concessions cover a total area of approximately 50,000 hectares and are currently in the production operation phase, located in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province.

The first CCoW is divided into seven blocks: North Keluang, South Keluang, Bandarjaya, Muara Teladan, Bedeng Genteng, Supat, and Lais.

The second CCoW consists of three blocks: Block A, Block B, and Block C, located in the districts of Sanga and Babat Toman.
