Job summary

Resindo Group seeks a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to support electrical, instrumentation and control design for mining and process plant projects. This office-based role offers mentorship under senior engineers and progression into E&I design responsibilities.

You will gain hands-on experience in power systems, instrumentation, P&ID development, and drawing/documentation preparation as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Fresh graduate to ~2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical and/or instrumentation design.
• Exposure to ETAP, CAD or equivalent software is advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering designs from concept through detailed design under guidance.
• Perform electrical calculations, system analysis, equipment selection and engineering documentation.
• Assist with electrical load lists and power distribution systems.
• Develop and update SLDs and electrical schematics.
• Perform cable sizing, schedules and routing design.
• Develop Instrument Lists, Datasheets, I/O Lists and Instrument Hook-up Drawings.
• Develop and update P&IDs under guidance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve interface questions.
