Job summary

Resindo Group is seeking a Graduate Civil Structural Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of civil and structural designs for mining, mineral processing and heavy industrial projects. This office-based role offers mentorship under Senior Engineers and access to modern design tools.

The graduate will progressively develop capabilities in calculations, models, and documentation while working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver concept to detailed designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduate to approximately 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in civil/structural engineering design is preferred.
• Strong foundation in structural analysis and materials.
• Exposure to engineering software is advantageous.
• Interest in mining, mineral processing and heavy industrial engineering.
• Good analytical and numerical ability; attention to detail.
• Good English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and structural designs from concept through to detailed design.
• Prepare calculations, analyses, models and design documentation.
• Assist with site development, plant layouts, earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations.
• Assist with crusher structures, conveyors, process plant buildings, and steelwork.
• Learn to use STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Develop structural analysis models and engineering calculations for loading scenarios.
• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers on ground conditions and design implications.
• Produce design criteria, basis memoranda, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Participate in scoping, feasibility, FEED and detailed design across project stages.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Drafting.
