Job summary

Mitr Blitar Manis is seeking a Government Relation Executive (Assistant Manager) with a strong background in law, public policy, and government affairs to build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies. The role requires leadership to monitor legal developments and align regulatory activities with business objectives.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Law or related fields and at least five years in government relations or related areas,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related fields.
• Min 5 years of Government Relations, Legal, Public Affairs, or Corporate Affairs experience.
• Strong knowledge of government structure, policy-making processes, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and agricultural sector stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse new laws, regulations, and policies impacting operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective communication with government stakeholders.
• Represent the company in public forums, meetings, hearings, and consultations with government officials.
• Manage licenses, permits, and regulatory documents for operations.
• Act as main liaison to resolve issues related to government policies or compliance matters.
• Prepare reports and briefings on regulatory developments for senior management.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, and external affairs to align compliance with business strategy.

GOVERNMENT RELATION EXECUTIVE (ASSISTANT MANAGER)

Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Government Relations, Legal, Public Affairs, or Corporate Affairs (more for managerial roles).

Strong knowledge of government structure, policy-making processes, and regulatory frameworks. - Established network with government institutions is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills. - Proficient in preparing and presenting official documents and reports.

Good understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to the company's industry. - Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in English, Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken) and Thai is a plus.
