Job summary

SIGMATECH in Jakarta is seeking a Go developer to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Gin and related tools. You will optimize data access with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, implement durable Temporal workflows, and collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams.

You should have 1–3 years of professional Go experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, and a solid understanding of goroutines, channels, and error handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional Go development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Go using Gin.
• Optimize data access with GORM, SQLX, and raw SQL.
• Schema design, migrations, and query optimization for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement Temporal workflows with retries, timeouts, idempotency.
• Build event-driven services with RabbitMQ/Kafka/NATS/Redis Streams.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Add structured logging, metrics, tracing; assist incidents.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps on API contracts.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered. Minimum GPA: 3.00.

Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience.

Technical Skills

• 1–3 years of professional experience with Go (Golang); internships and serious side projects are considered.
• Good understanding of goroutines, channels, context, and error handling.
• Experience developing REST APIs using Gin, Echo, Fiber, or Chi.
• Familiar with GORM and able to write raw SQL when required.
• Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals, including joins, transactions, indexes, and query optimization.
• Familiar with Git and basic Docker.
• Able to independently read technical documentation and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Job Responsibilities
