Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Commercial Effectiveness Lead to drive the performance of its commercial organization in Indonesia. You will enable Sales and Marketing to operate as a unified unit, translating strategy into disciplined execution with strong analytics and governance.

You will partner with regional and local leaders to optimize go-to-market models, segmentation, and performance management while building a data-driven culture across the commercial function.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement commercial strategy and go-to-market excellence.
• Own and shape the Indonesia Commercial Effectiveness agenda in alignment with commercial and enterprise priorities.
• Partner with Business Units to assess and optimize customer engagement, channel, account, and go-to-market models.
• Lead analysis and recommendations on customer segmentation, targeting, territory design, resource deployment, and field-force sizing.
• Evaluate commercial execution models and identify opportunities to improve customer impact, launch readiness, productivity, and business performance.
